Is the app free?
Yes! Quotty offers a free version that allows you to explore the core features and receive daily quotes. For users who want unlimited access to all quote categories, personal backgrounds, and advanced notification settings, we offer the Quotty Premium subscription.

Subscription & Payment

What benefits does the Quotty Premium subscription provide?
Upgrading to Premium unlocks the app's full potential:

How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed directly through your Apple ID and the App Store. To cancel:
1. Open the Settings app on your device.
2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
3. Select Subscriptions.
4. Find Quotty in the list and tap on it.
5. Select Cancel Subscription.

You can also cancel via the in-app Settings menu under "Manage Subscription," which will redirect you to the relevant page in the App Store settings.

Will I keep my Premium benefits until the end of the billing period?
Yes. After cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged further, but you will retain all Premium features until that date.

Restoring Purchases

What does the "Restore Purchases" function do?
The "Restore Purchases" function syncs your existing Premium subscription with the app on your current device. Use this if you:
* Reinstalled the Quotty app.
* Got a new iPhone or iPad.
* See the app behaving as if you don't have an active subscription.

How do I restore my purchase?
1. Open the Quotty app.
2. Go to the Settings menu (usually represented by a gear icon).
3. Tap on Subscription or Manage Subscription.
4. Tap the Restore Purchases button.
5. Wait a few seconds for the process to complete. A confirmation message will appear.

Why isn't "Restore Purchases" working?
If the restore function cannot find your subscription, check the following:
* Apple ID: Make sure you are signed into the App Store with the same Apple ID used to purchase the subscription.
* Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is required.
* Active Status: Confirm your subscription is still active in the App Store settings.

Notifications & Settings

How do I set up quote notifications?
1. Open the Quotty app.
2. Go to the Notifications section in the main menu.
3. Choose the notification type:
* Random Quotes: Receive from 1 to 10 quotes per day at your chosen time.
* Daily Reminder: One quote at a specific time every day.
4. Configure the time, days of the week, and number of notifications.
5. Select the quote categories you wish to receive.

How do I choose quote categories?
1. In the notification settings, tap the Categories button.
2. Select the topics that interest you: motivation, success, love, wisdom, and others.
3. Tap Save.
4. You must select at least one category to activate notifications.

Personalization

How do I change the app theme?
1. Open Settings within the app.
2. Select App Theme.
3. Browse the available themes and choose the one you like.
4. (Note: Some themes are available only to Premium subscribers.)

How do I set a custom background?
1. Open Settings within the app.
2. Select Home Screen Background.
3. Tap on Custom Background (available only for Premium).
4. Choose an image from your gallery.
5. Tap Done to save.

Privacy & Data Security

What happens to my data?
Your privacy is our top priority:
* Minimal Data Collection: We collect only the information necessary for the app to function (username, settings).
* Local Storage: Your settings and favorite quotes are stored locally on your device.
* No Tracking: We do not track your activity outside the app.
* Secure Subscriptions: All payments are processed through Apple's secure App Store system.

Where is my information stored?
All your personal settings, favorite quotes, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not transfer this data to external servers.

Using the App

Which devices are supported?
Quotty is available for iPhone and iPad. Requires iOS 15.0 or later.

Can I share quotes?
Yes! You can share your favorite quotes:
1. Tap the Share button below a quote.
2. Choose a method: message, social media, email, or save as an image.
3. The quote will be beautifully formatted with your chosen background.

How do I add a quote to Favorites?

• Tap the heart icon next to a quote. All favorited quotes are saved in the Favorites section and are available at any time.
